Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

Just getting started with drumming really. I played years ago in the secondary school marching band and decided I needed a hobby since we won't be going out to the pub that much in this economy. Bought an old set of drums and decided I needed to refit the cymbals.

Paid a hundred fifty for this set. I really didn't want to spend that much, but I figured it would really dress up my old set so it was worth it in my opinion. Zildian cymbals look sweet and sound great so there was not a whole lot of thinking that had to go into it.

As I mentioned above I love the sound and the look. They are well made and this beginner set is just right for what I need.

Nothing to not like yet. We'll see how they hold up to my abuses.

Good construction and quality, but again time will tell whether the long term quality is there. Zildjian is reputable though so I really don't expect any problems.

In summary, I'm very pleased with my purchase. They dressed up my old set nicely and look and sound great. Very happy.
